My name is Karen Bamford and I will be teaching again this year at Bamford Academy. I have been homeschooling for sixteen years and enjoy the relaxed environment that comes with this great opportunity. I have learned over the years that homeschooling is both demanding and rewarding at the same time. Each day is a new day to begin again and either learn something new or you can spend the time reviewing and mastering what you learned yesterday. It is entirely up to the student and how the student is functioning.

This year we have a small class of four students who have been homeschooled since birth. The ages are 12, 10, 8, and 6. They include students that have numerous styles of learning and differnert levels of education. We will include emerging technology into our class learning this year.
